This route is ideal for those new to adventure: it combines hiking, jumps, slides, and water features in a spectacular setting of rocks and Mediterranean vegetation. At the end of the route, a short rappel awaits, adding the perfect touch of adrenaline.
What is canyoning?
Canyoning is a sport in which you descend through a canyon or ravine on foot and by swimming, overcoming various natural obstacles (pools, waterfalls, etc.) using different canyoning techniques such as climbing, downclimbing, jumping into pools, sliding, crossing bridges, zip lines, and rappelling (roping down). Canyoning allows us to explore beautiful, remote landscapes and enjoy spectacular canyons.
Where do we do it?
The canyoning trips we offer are in the Montanejos area, about an hour from Valencia, Castellón, or Teruel. The Family Aquatic Canyon is located in the Fuente la Reina area, a town very close to Montanejos.
The Montanejos area and surroundings (Zucaina, Fuente la Reina, Montán...) is a mountainous area in the province of Castellón that has places of great natural beauty and is listed as the Sierra de Espadán Natural Park.
