What is a via ferrata?

A via ferrata is an adapted form of traditional mountaineering designed to ascend frequently used technical sections, allowing people with no climbing experience to enjoy the sensations and verticality of climbing without significant physical or technical demands. You will ascend along exposed (vertical) paths equipped with rungs, ladders, holds, chains, and pitons to aid your progress, always secured by a rope or cable.
